In order to fully live this soothing, relaxing and well being provided by home fragrances, you must already know how to use them. Find in this article a guide of use for each support of diffuser of ambient perfume.

The perfume burner

The perfume burner is like a night light, as it has a heat source (usually a candle) that, once lit, burns the perfume and spreads the scent around the room.

How to use the room fragrance? On the top of the device, there is a small tray where you will pour the room fragrance extract mixed with a few drops of water. What is the purpose of this? The room fragrance can be very concentrated. In order not to damage your sense of smell and to breathe a light scent, it must be diluted with water.

When it is done, you can light the candle with a match, a gas lighter or a lighter. You will see that in less than a minute, the first fumes of perfume will spread in the room, pleasantly perfuming your home. Add a few drops of water from time to time to compensate for evaporation.

Note that the room fragrance should be burned for a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes per hour.

Scented candles

Scented candles have the advantage of being both decorative and fragrant. It is ideal for candle lovers.

Like the previous device, the goal is to spread the room fragrance and only the room fragrance. This means that you need to know how to use and maintain the candle properly to avoid black fumes that could spoil your ambiance.

How do you do it? Generously cut the wick of the candle to optimize the combustion before lighting it. 1 hour at each use will be enough to diffuse the perfume. And finally, use a snuffer to extinguish it to smother the flame and avoid an increase of smoke.

For safety, place your scented candle away from drafts.

The room spray

The room spray is very easy to use and is very discreet. It is sprayed in the air and diffused in the whole room.

Before using it, air the room. 2 or 3 sprays are enough to deposit a soft odor for a room of approximately 20m². It is useless to put too much, but you can make more if you wish a more pronounced perfume.

To make the scent last longer, spray it on ceramic tiles. It’s very practical!

Stem diffusers

Stem diffusers are also called capillas, perfume sticks or capillary perfume diffusers. They form a fragrant bouquet that gives a very decorative look.

How to use the capillary diffuser? Nothing could be easier! You just have to put the rattan sticks in the glass container containing the home fragrance.

The diffusion of the perfume works by capillarity, that is to say that the perfumed liquid will go up along the stem and evaporate in the ambient air.

So the more stems you put, the more powerful the fragrance will be. The less you put, the more subtle it will be.
