Well, what do we have here, yet another so-called ‘Oriental’ fragrance, this time of the woodsy variety. But, again, something out of the ordinary. This comes from Italian artist Filippo Sorcinelli, and it’s my introduction to his work. Contre Bombarde 32 is on the bitter tip. This may appeal strongly to some noses, good and not so. The feels a bit conceptual and helps the wearer to envision a sense of place, either where they are in the moment, or somewhere in deep woods. It’s admittedly an odd one, but I started this audiozine to experience the breath of fragrances that would challenge me, and this exactly that.
