Something new. And not necessarily blue. Here I give a dozen very first impressions of designer fragrances in less than fifteen minutes, quick impressions, using fragrance test strips no less (which is not normal ’round here). These had a huge range in terms of notes, contemporary vs. vintage smelling, exciting vs. a bit more basic/typical. In general I am trying to veer away from easy buy fragrances like some of these, but there are a few in this batch that are incredibly exceptional, as good as some of the better niche varieties. Do you wear any of these? Remember, take my first impressions with a tiny grain of salt as they are my instinctual responses to overall complexity and composition. Some shine, others fall flat. I’ll give you a hint at what I liked best and least, see graphic (above). Many of these were acquired via Fragrancenet.com who specialize in offering sweet discounts to their customers. Christian Dior – Sauvage EDP (2018)
Dolce & Gabbana – Intenso (2014)
Façonnable – Faconnable EDT (1994)
Fendi – Fan di Fendi Pour Homme (2012)
